About us

Out of the traditions of Irish set dancing and social connections a new association has evolved – ISDAV. The Irish Social Dancing Association Victoria recognises the passion, understanding and experience of social dancing as a crucial part of Irish culture. While we draw on the knowledge and experience of our members and experienced callers, we are open to anyone who loves to dance, to move and to have fun with others in a non-competitive setting. Failte [welcome].

ISDAV acknowledges the Traditional Owners of the unceded lands on which we live, work and dance. We celebrate the history and contemporary creativity of the world’s oldest living culture and pay our respect to Elders past and present.
